Since we started this blog just three short months ago (WOW!) we’ve met and connected with so many amazing people along the way.
We’ll be telling you more about these connections in 2013, so stay tuned.
One of the most exciting things that’s happened so far this year is that we’ve been invited to turn this blog into a weekly column for The Anniston Star in Anniston, Ala.
Anniston is a city in east Alabama smack dab on I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. It’s also Ricks’ old stomping grounds as a member of the first class of Knight Fellows in Community Journalism and later as a fledgling correspondent covering state government and politics.
